ABOUT THE ACADEMY

The Beach Bums Baseball Academy is an elite baseball training center for anyone who loves the game of baseball. The Academy is located at Wuerfel Park, home of the independent professional Traverse City Beach Bums. We provide local athletes a place to train with quality instruction from Beach Bums players and coaches.

ACADEMY QUALITY GUARANTEE

The Beach Bums Baseball Academy’s mission is to provide quality instruction in a safe and spacious environment for the purpose of helping our athletes accomplish their dreams. The Academy does not sell memberships or provide open cage time, so you never have to train in a crowded atmosphere. When you step foot in our facility, we are completely dedicated to you and you alone! Want to train with the pros, where the pros train? Come to the Beach Bums Baseball Academy!

LESSON PRICES - updated for 2012 - starting May 1st, 2012, the Academy will be re-opening for private lessons. Lessons will be taught by Traverse City Beach Bums professional players and coaches. The summer lesson schedule is very tight due to the game commitments of players and coaches and therefore every lesson must be scheduled at least one week in advance. The Academy has a 48-hour lesson cancellation policy for summer months.

Private Lessons - Lessons run 30 minutes (ages 9-18)

1 Lesson - $50
8 Lessons - $370 (save $30)

NEW! COLLEGE PROSPECT PROGRAM - Grades 9-12

Program Includes:
9 Private 45-minute Hitting Lessons
9 Private 45-minute Fielding/Pitching Lessons
9 45-minute Position Specific Conditioning Sessions

*Program scheduled as nine two-hour blocks (one hitting, one fielding/pitching, one conditioning session per visit). All visits must be scheduled from 11AM-1PM on the following available dates (pick nine): 5/26, 5/27, 6/5-6/10, 6/15, 6/16, 6/24, 6/25, 6/29, 7/4, 7/5, 8/3-8/5, 8/11-8/19, 8/28-8/31.
